Her most well-known role was for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her other notable roles include her role as the lead in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's.
